  1. 1

    Open Generator Seacock

Locate the generator saltwater cooling inlet thru-hull valve under the salon floorboards and turn it to the parallel (open) position.

  2. 2

    Perform Pre-Start Check

Verify generator oil level is in the safe range using the dipstick, and inspect the compartment for dry bilges.

  3. 3

    Preheat & Start on Panel

On the main electrical board, hold the PREHEAT button for 5 seconds, then press and hold START until the diesel engine fires up. Allow the generator to run idle for 2 minutes.

  4. 4

    Switch AC Source to Gen

Rotate the main AC selector dial from "Shore Power" to "Generator" on the master panel. Verify voltage reads 230V @ 50Hz.
